  Justin Leroy [Director]
Justin graduated with a BA in Film Studies from Wesleyan University. There he received honors for his short documentary, “Eracesure,” which examines the popularity of ethnically ambiguous fashion models. His work has been screened at museums and film festivals and combines art with social commentary.

   
  Matt Kelley [Producer]
Matt is the founder and president of MAVIN Foundation. He founded MAVIN magazine in 1998 and is also co-editor of the Multiracial Child Resource Book. Matt has been in featured in over 400 media, including the New York Times, CNN and Newsweek, and is the recipient of many awards, including a “Points of Light” distinction by President George W. Bush.

   
  Michael Okimoto [Assistant Editor]
As a fourth year undergraduate student, Michael is pursuing a double degree in psychology and marketing at Santa Clara University in California. He comes from a mixed cultural background that includes Japanese and Chinese ancestry. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, his interests include music, sports and traveling.

  Aaron Kendeall
A product of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aaron is currently a senior at West Virginia University in Morgantown. As a news-editorial major, he is a member of the Diversity in Media Association, and hopes to be a war correspondent after graduating. His cultural heritage is African American, European American and Creek American Indian.

   
  Geetha Lakshminarayanan
Geetha was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan by her White mother and Indian father. She recently graduated from the University of Michigan, where she co-coordinated a mentorship program for Asian American high school students. Geetha now works at a management support organization for non-profits in Southeast Michigan.

   
  Ashley McDermott
Ashley was born and raised in Idaho, and currently attends the University of Colorado in Boulder. At UC, she is a member of Mosaic, a student organization that focuses on multiracialand multiethnic issues. Her racial heritage includes African American, Swiss and Irish ancestry.

   
  Jamie Tibbetts
Originally from Berkeley, California, Jamie has been very active in mixed race organizations since high school. Since graduating from University of California, Santa Cruz, Jamie, who is Chinese American and White, has started a T-shirt company offering positive designs for socially and politically conscious people.

   
  Charles Yesuwan
Charles was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Through his multiethnic Thai, Chinese and Burmese heritage, and cosmopolitan upbringing, he was able to gain a strong sense of self. Charles graduated from the University of Washington and is currently lending his design skills to nonprofits in the Seattle area.
