Host Description:
|
Since 1997, the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program has provided vision,
leadership, and support for Asian Pacific American (APA) activities at the Smithsonian, while serving as the Smithsonian's liaison
to APA communities. The Program's goals are to reflect the experiences of APAs in all Smithsonian work; to improve the public's
appreciation of APA role in American history and empower APA communities by increasing their sense of inclusion in the national culture.
